HONEY DERMA THREAD™
PDO
Polydioxanone
The most natural way to become beautiful.
As we grow older and show signs of aging, our skin loses elasticity and develops wrinkles.
No one can avoid natural aging of the skin as it is an evitable result of passing times.
However, if you don’t manage your skin, you may look much older than your real age.
So you need HONEY DERMA THREAD™ to maintain your skin’s elasticity.
It is minimally invasive procedure inserting harmless threads into skin to lift and tighten the skin,
which has been steadily popular as its benefits are immediate and effective.
The threads inserted into the true layer of skin promote collagen production and blood circulation of the treated area,
improving skin complexion and reducing wrinkles.
The benefits of HONEY DERMA THREAD™ Lifting products continue to improve over the course of time as the threads
stimulate the collagen production in the skin.

HONEY DERMA THREAD™ offers a wide range of options for cog threads in terms of shapes and sizes.
Basic Cog helps skin lifting and is very effective at lifting fine wrinkles.
Basic Cog is widely used for preventing skin aging before it starts.

HONEY DERMA THREAD™ Dual Needle is a long, single thread with two needles attached and connected.
There are cutting and molding type threads.
Honey Derma Thread Dual Needles rearrange skin structure, naturally corrects facial contours,
and fix facial asymmetry, as they lift skin from every direction, in curves.

HONEY DERMA THREAD™ offers a wide range of options for cog threads in terms of shapes and sizes.
Basic Cog helps skin lifting and is very effective at lifting fine wrinkles.
Basic Cog is widely used for preventing skin aging before it starts.

Nose Cog helps make a smooth nose line that nose filers cannot make.
Nose Cog not only makes a sharp nose but also corrects and restructures the nose from the bridge to the tip.
Nose Cog Line is dedicated to nose lifts and has two types: one type with cogs along the outer thread and
the other type with cogs along both inner and outer threads.

P(LA/CL)
Poly(L-lactide acid-co-ɛ-caprolactone)
P(LA/CL) is a copolymer of PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) and PCL (Polycaprolactone),
scientifically known as Poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone).
Originally developed in Japan in the 1990s, it has been recognized for its remarkable clinical reliability, proven safety,
and long-lasting performance across decades of medical application.
Our HONEY DERMA THREAD™ P(LA/CL) uses 100% Japanese-origin raw materials from GUNZE and is meticulously manufactured in-house from polymer to finished product to ensure absolute quality control.
One of the greatest challenges in absorbable sutures is hydrolysis caused by moisture.
To overcome this, we apply a precision vacuum dehydration process that maintains moisture content below 200 PPM
— a far stricter standard than the industry norm of 500 PPM.
Although this process takes longer and demands greater precision, it ensures exceptional stability, durability, and
performance over time.
Furthermore, HONEY DERMA THREAD™ P(LA/CL) threads are fully compatible with existing PDO techniques,
requiring no additional training or procedural changes — providing practitioners with an effortless, seamless transition
to superior lifting results.

P(LA/CL) is a state-of-the-art biodegradable thread material that acts on the deeper layers of the skin and
delivers results lasting for more than two years.
Upon implantation, P(LA/CL) threads stimulate the production of Type I and Type III collagen and the formation of
a fibrous capsule, helping to restore skin firmness and elasticity.
Even after complete biodegradation into non-toxic substances within 18–24 months, the fibrous capsule continues to support soft tissue for an additional 3–5 months, extending the lifting effect naturally.
P(LA/CL) sutures demonstrate exceptional hydrolytic stability and long-term durability.
After 24–25 weeks, P(LA/CL) sutures (USP 0) retain over 60% of their original mass, whereas PDO sutures maintain less than 30%.
Even at 32 weeks, the structural integrity of P(LA/CL) remains virtually unchanged, confirming its superior resistance to degradation and sustained mechanical strength.
(Refer to the graph for comparative biodegradation data.)

P(LA/CL) threads feature a highly stable and complex molecular structure, combining
Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) and ε-Caprolactone (PCL) for enhanced performance.
PLLA stimulates collagen regeneration and skin rejuvenation,
while PCL slows the biodegradation process, ensuring a longer-lasting lifting effect.
Together, they deliver sustained firmness, elasticity, and a naturally youthful appearance.
